1. About The Doughjo JA
The Doughjo JA is a Jamaican sourdough microbakery offering handcrafted sourdough breads, baked goods, related products, classes, and other services. All products are subject to availability, and our menu, pricing, pickup or delivery options, and operating schedule may change from time to time.
2. Orders
Orders are not considered confirmed until they have been successfully submitted and, where applicable, payment has been received or otherwise confirmed. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order due to product availability, incorrect pricing or product information, suspected fraudulent activity, circumstances outside our reasonable control, or other legitimate business reasons.
If we cancel an order that has already been paid for, the amount paid for the cancelled items will be refunded using an appropriate method.
3. Product Availability
Our products are handcrafted in limited quantities. Availability may therefore vary, and an item displayed on our website may occasionally become unavailable before your order is fulfilled. We may substitute packaging or make minor changes to the appearance of our products without affecting their general nature or quality. Because our products are handmade, slight variations in size, shape, colour, crumb, decoration, or appearance are normal.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are listed in Jamaican Dollars (JMD) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time. However, price changes will not normally affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for. Customers are responsible for ensuring that payment and contact information provided when placing an order is accurate.
5. Pickup & Delivery
Customers are responsible for selecting or providing the correct pickup or delivery information when ordering. Pickup orders must be collected during the agreed pickup period. Delivery times provided are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, courier availability, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Specific pickup location details may be provided directly to customers where necessary rather than being publicly displayed on our website.
6. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Our products are prepared in an environment where wheat/gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, and other allergens may be handled.
Although we take reasonable care when preparing our products, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact. Customers with food allergies, intolerances, coeliac disease, or other dietary requirements should contact us before ordering if they have questions about ingredients or preparation. Unless a product is specifically identified as such, our sourdough products should not be considered gluten-free.

Customers are responsible for following any storage, reheating, freezing, or consumption instructions provided with their products.
Because our products are freshly baked and may contain few or no commercial preservatives, shelf life may differ from mass-produced baked goods. The Doughjo JA is not responsible for deterioration caused by improper storage or handling after an order has been collected or delivered.

Because our baked goods are made fresh and often prepared specifically for individual orders, cancellations, refunds, and order modifications may be limited once production has begun.

9. Workshops & Classes
Registration for Doughjo workshops and other educational events may be subject to additional booking, cancellation, payment, and attendance policies provided during registration. Where separate class terms are provided, those terms will apply in addition to these Terms of Use.
